I design, carve, and cast the medals myself. The medals are made of lead-free pewter and have designs on both sides. The pendant comes with a jump ring (see photo 1), so it can easily be attached to any chain you have. This listing is for the pendant alone, but it does come with a split ring so it can also be used on a key chain (see photo of packaging). Each medal comes in a felt jewelry pouch with a history card that states:
“All shall be well” is the best-known line in Julian of Norwich’s Showings of Divine Love, a description of a series of visions, many of them of tribulations. But Julian (b. 1342) goes farther: at the root of her theology is the belief that underpinning everything–every hardship, every event–is an ultimate goodness that assures us that, no matter how the present may appear, all shall be well. The piece has “All Shall Be Well” on the front and “Julian of Norwich” etched on the back. It was handmade by Hank Schlau.
Dimensions: 1.5 in. high (includes bail) x 1 in. wide
