St. Rita: Prayers Answered, Miracles, Those in Difficult Times; Handmade Medal/Pendant

Over the centuries, St. Rita has come to be seen as a saint to appeal to in a difficult time, a stressful time when a change is needed. I design, carve, and cast the medals myself. The medals are made of lead-free pewter and have designs on both sides. The pendant comes with a jump ring (see photo 1), so it can easily be attached to any chain you have. This listing is for the pendant alone, but it does come with a split ring so it can also be used on a key chain (see photo of packaging). Each medal comes in a felt jewelry pouch with a history card that states:

"Over years of exhibiting at shows, I’ve occasionally met people with a quiet devotion to St. Rita, people who told me that they weren’t particularly devout, didn’t believe in miracles, but that at some stressful point in their life Rita was mentioned to them; they appealed to her; and things remarkably improved. The link between Rita and prayers answered began with a story: Rita was dying in winter. A sister asked her if there was something she could get her. Rita asked for a rose. The sister said it was impossible. Rita persisted. Outside, the sister found a rose bush in bloom. Miracles. Prayers answered. This medal, handmade at In the Co.
