Handmade medal of St. Gerard. I design, carve, and cast the medals myself. The medals are made of lead-free pewter and have designs on both sides. The medal comes on either an 18-inch or 24-inch alloy chain with a lobster clasp. Each necklace comes in a felt jewelry pouch with a history card that states:
"One day after visiting a family, Gerard was walking away from the cottage when a young girl of the house ran after him carrying a handkerchief he had left. Gerard said, “Keep it. Someday you’ll find it useful,” and then blessed her. Years later, the girl, now married, was going through a terrible labor. She asked for the handkerchief. It was brought to her and placed on her belly–the pain disappeared and she delivered a healthy child. In this pewter medal, which was handmade at In the Co. of Saints, Gerard blesses a woman and her newborn."
