I designed and carved the original of the pendant (they're copyrighted) and cast the pieces myself in lead-free pewter. The pendant comes on either an 18-inch or 24-inch, stainless steel chain with a lobster clasp. The necklace comes in jewelry pouch with a history stating the following:
"A guardian angel is one assigned to guide and inspire a particular person or group and to protect them against harm. Belief in guardian angels extends throughout all antiquity and is explicitly developed in both the Old and New Testaments (the Catholic Church has a feast day, Oct. 2, for guardian angels). This medal has an angel holding a tiny bicycle on the front and an angel flying above, protecting, and inspiring a bicyclist on the back. It was handmade by Hank Schlau at In the Co. of Saints."
