Hand-Carved medal on a chain of St. Philomena: Patron of Teenagers, and Their Mothers; and Miracle-Worker. I design, carve, and cast the medals myself. The medals are made of lead-free pewter and have designs on both sides. The medal comes on either an 18-inch or 24-inch alloy chain with a lobster clasp. Each necklace comes in a felt jewelry pouch with a history card that states:

"In 1802 a tomb was found in Rome’s catacombs bearing the inscription: “Peace be with you, Philomena.” Other markings indicated that Philomena was a 2nd-century teenage martyr. Miracles began to occur for those (including St. John Vianney, St. Frances Cabrini, and St. John Neumann) who called on St. Philomena. In 1837, Gregory XVI declared her a “great wonder-worker.” Thus, Philomena is appealed to as a patron of the young, especially teenagers, and their mothers, and as a miracle-worker. This medal was handmade at In the Co. of Saints."
