Hand-carved medal on a chain depicting the admonition to "Be still and know...." I design, carve, and cast the medals myself. The medals are made of lead-free pewter and have designs on both sides. The medal comes on either an 18-inch or 24-inch alloy chain with a lobster clasp. Each necklace comes in a felt jewelry pouch with a history card that states:

"Psalm 46:10 reads in part: 'Be still and know that I am God.' (NAS: 'Cease striving and know....') The Hebrew translated as 'Be still' suggests letting something fall, not putting forth effort, leaving matters with God, letting go of anxiety. This notion of stillness and ceding control is a key teaching in Christian history and has been elucidated by the Desert Fathers, mystics like Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwich, and Thomas Merton, and many Orthodox spiritual masters (see hesychasm). This medal was handmade at In the Co. Of Saints in Covington, LA."
